Operation Blankets of Love
Operation Blankets of Love (OBOL) is an award winning, leading animal welfare and emergency relief non-profit organization. They cover the state of California & beyond.
Malaya & Liam have raised over $10,000 for Operation Blankets Of Love. They pushed past school boundaries and reached out to the district office when their school wasn’t in favor of helping them. They received approval TWICE from the Moorpark Unified School District to hold a fundraiser at their Annual School Carnival & their Schools Halloween “Trunk or Treat” event. Prior to the school events, they created flyers & had 700 flyers printed up. They made sure all the teachers received them in time, to pass them out to all students, before each event. At the actual events, they collected donations of Pet Food, Pet Supplies, animal Beds, Towels, Blankets & Pet Toys for animals in need. They invited many individuals to join the OBOL team & took part in the last 3 "Strut your Mutt” LA events. They also have an OBOL donation box at “Barks & Bubbles”. Which is a pet grooming boutique in their community. Malaya & Liam hope to inspire other children to care & help save animals lives.
