14th Annual Santa To The Sea
Sunday, December 12th 2021
Location: Historic Santa Claus in Oxnard, Ca. is the Start Point. Finish Line is at the Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands
Time: 7:30a.m. 9:15am
Crowds congregate early to visit vendors and get in position to cheer the runners, beginning with the 5K and 1K finishers, followed by the half marathoners from around 9:00 am to noon.
Mission: Malaya, Liam, Seven & Santa need your help in raising the funds to keep the scholarships and toys flowing to the local underserved communities of Oxnard, Ca.
What started in 2003 as a toy drive to celebrate the relocation of the world’s largest Santa Claus from Carpinteria to Oxnard has grown into a robust running event, toy drive, community fundraiser, and holiday season celebration. It’s more than just a Half Marathon, it’s a friends and family event!
Opportunities for the whole family include: Half Marathon, 2-person Half Marathon Relay, 5K Run/Walk, 1K Kids Fun Run, Diaper Dash, Costume Contest, Charity Challenge, Neighborhood Challenge, Finish Line Festival & Holiday Marketplace, Toy Drive (3,000+ toys collected in 2019) and a Scholarship Program where 80+ scholarships is our goal to be awarded every year!
This flat and fast USATF certified course (CA12055RS). Santa to the Sea Half Marathon is great for veteran runners, as well as first-timers. For many, this race has become one of their favorites. Along the course, you will be encouraged and supported by local spectators, volunteers, and cheer-squads. You’ll be motivated musically by the many bands we have lined up along the course.
This point to point course starts at the historic Santa Claus, off the 101 freeway, runs through Oxnard’s famous strawberry fields, then through downtown Oxnard and beautiful Plaza Park. Next will be historic Candy Cane Lane, where the homes are decorated for the holidays. Finally, you’re off to the Pacific Ocean, the beach, and finishing at the Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands Harbor.
Our supervised, non-competitive 1K Kid’s Fun Run starts near the Santa to the Sea finish line, in the EXPO area. The 1K Kids Run is recommended for children 3 and up.
With volunteers cheering along the way, the children will follow a paved route, ending with a final sprint through the official finisher’s chute, and under the Santa to the Sea arch. Parents may run with younger children or cheer along the course.
Please arrive early to check in, as parking is limited. Pick up your child’s bib and shirt during packet pick up or on event morning at the registration table. After finishing, the kids will receive their Santa to the Sea Finisher’s Medal!
Santa’s Village is open to all children who are enjoying the Santa to the Sea event. Kids can participate in holiday crafts, games, and activities. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES. For More Details Visit: www.santatothesea.com
Finish The Ride is the spirit of courage and determination to overcome tragedy despite apparently insurmountable odds. It’s a movement that has literally been heard around the world.
Our “Finish The Ride” and “Finish The Run” events benefit the non-profit organization, Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) whose mission is to aim to improve quality of life for bicyclists, pedestrians, and drivers alike by working to reduce traffic caused injuries and fatalities.
We engage students, parents, administrators, civic leaders, business leaders, and community members — developing multi-faceted, community-based campaigns that, by actual statistics, save lives.
By participating in Finish The Ride and Finish The Run, you are taking part in something that is helping to change the streets of Los Angeles. Show others that you are doing something to make safer streets for bicyclists, pedestrians, and everyone else on the roads of LA. Join the movement. Be part of the solution :: www.finishtheride.org
Join Malaya, Liam & Seven as they not only take part in the race, volunteer with packet pick up and finisher medals but also listen to there inspirational message as they grace the stage as guest speakers at the 8am open ceremony for this amazing and important family event. Ride/Run/Walk Safe

Due to Covid the race has been canceled, but that does not mean giving to those who are in need of Christmas cheer is canceled too.
The goal is to offer a real, non virtual FREE event, that keeps everyone safe and spread out while still achieving Santa to the Sea's goal of providing an additional 80 college scholarships and generating enough toy donations to give every single needy child in our local community a toy for Christmas. Santa's Toy Run is how we do it!!
In early December, the idea is you run/walk/skip/drive/fly or any other mode of transportation to your local toy store. Pick up a toy of at least $15.00 and run/bring it to one of our drop off locations (monetary donations will also be accepted). Choose any distance you like. Share the experience with friends.
Locations and times are still being finalized, see below for current details.
After donating a toy, we will have a medal and bib waiting for you as a thank you for your generosity. You will receive a special commemorative 2020 Santa to the Sea medal and 2020 runners bib number. (limited to first 1000 runners to deliver a toy). Your participation will help make Christmas for some of our communities most needy, just a little brighter.

Though this Thanksgiving will be a thanksgiving like none of us have ever experienced before, we are still so blessed to have each other and a warm Thanksgiving meal. Due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, more than 54 Million Americans, including a potential 18 Million Children, may experience food insecurity this upcoming Holiday season. Together, let’s make sure that doesn’t happen. Every community in the country is home to families who struggle with food insecurity including rural and suburban communities. Many households that experience food insecurity do not qualify for federal nutrition programs and need to rely on their local food banks and other hunger relief organizations for support.
Let us stand united & bring happiness to all.
There are many ways to help: 1. Send a Thanksgiving card 2. Feed a family or 3. Donate food. 4. Safely volunteer at your local soup kitchen, food pantry, or food bank. 5. Help assemble Thanksgiving Meal Boxes. or 6. Serve food on Thanksgiving.
How can honestly enjoy our own thanksgiving meals, without trying to make sure at least one other family does too…
Just because Children are in a hospital on Halloween... doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have a joyful holiday. Take a moment out of your day to spread kindness to a child at the Children’s Hospital of LA. I promise you will help create smiles on Halloween when they receive your wonderful holiday cards. To make sure each child receives a card on time, cards must be submitted by the end of the day on October 29th. Happy Halloween 🎃👻🎃
Every card sent unlocks a $1 donation from Greenberg Glusker LLP to help the Children’s Hospital of LA treat and care for sick and injured children in our community.

Why you should crown me as your:
Miss Pre-Teen California/Nevada United States 2021
I am not only the perfect face, mind and heart of this state, I’m also the face, mind and heart of our nation’s future. I'm proud to be the mix of over a dozen, different ethnicities. I’m aware that people within the mix of my ethnicities, get treated differently. I know when someone asks me, "What ethnicity are you?" … I'm about to be judged. I fight for racial equality. I truly believe racism is taught. Parents need to have these important conversations with their children. It's simply crucial, in raising Anti-Racial children, that will result in equality for our future nation. Imagine That…
