Feeding America On Thanksgiving

  Though this Thanksgiving will be a thanksgiving like none of us have ever experienced before, we are still so blessed to have each other and a warm Thanksgiving meal. Due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, more than 54 Million Americans, including a potential 18 Million Children, may experience food insecurity this upcoming Holiday season. Together, let’s make sure that doesn’t happen. Every community in the country is home to families who struggle with food insecurity including rural and suburban communities. Many households that experience food insecurity do not qualify for federal nutrition programs and need to rely on their local food banks and other hunger relief organizations for support. 

Let us stand united & bring happiness to all. 

There are many ways to help: 1. Send a Thanksgiving card 2. Feed a family or 3. Donate food. 4. Safely volunteer at your local soup kitchen, food pantry, or food bank. 5. Help assemble Thanksgiving Meal Boxes. or 6. Serve food on Thanksgiving.

How can honestly enjoy our own thanksgiving meals, without trying to make sure at least one other family does too…
